Adjacent to the Andromeda Gallery is an award winning conceptual art project called the Storefront Theater that was completed in 2015 designed by Matthew Mazzotta and built by community members. It is seemingly just another storefront in downtown until the entire front facade tilts down to the street and bleachers roll out. An 18' wide screen is pulled out into the street and people can watch movies in the evenings. The movie Decades premiered there. The city owned Storefront Theater is available to anyone who wants to use it, contact the Lyons Library to schedule an event. 402-687-2895. It has been also used for other things also like video game nights or street dance seating. The Storefront Theater has become another part of the creative corridor on Main Street.
