After it was built I thought it would be fun to film a short using my Jupiter 2 interior but that small space seemed limiting. I thought if only I had a larger shed I could build a small section of the Jupiter 2 exterior. As a fortunate happenstance, the old theater, there I worked as a projectionist while in high school, came up for sale, and I ended up buying it. There was enough space inside to build the very front part of the Jupiter 2 hull including the airlock hatch and viewport. I didn't plan to build anything inside since there wasn't much space but did finally manage to build a simpler non working flight console and transmitter after all. There's a mural of my other Jupiter 2 interior on the back wall so it looks better when seen from the outside looking in. There was also enough space to build up the campsite just outside of the Jupiter 2. Just like the original set, I have fake boulders and trees and a cyclorama that goes around three walls.
