I've been a Lost in Space fan since the series came out in 1965 and started collecting things from the show since then. At first all I had was the Topps cards, the viewmaster set, and the Aurora models. I'd save articles from magazines and newspapers and I'd always sketch things as I watched the show to draw up my own pictures and blueprints of the Jupiter 2 and other props. In the 1970s and 1980s I'd subscribe to fanzines, which was the only way I could connect to the show then. In the 1990 I did start to buy some toys and things on ebay that I never had and it was nice to connect with other fans on the internet. I now have a few original props used on the show and created many more replica props. In 2020 I started building dioramas of scenes from the various episodes which are displayed in the studio annex. I also collect production material whenever I can, I love to see how the episodes were created. I have copies of all the scripts, and many blueprints that show the building of props and sets, and how the stages are to be laid out. I still love building more and larger props which a few years ago resulted in building some full scale sections of the Jupiter 2. It was also fun to meet the cast at conventions and get their autographs and even more so when I got to see John Antonellis's full size chariot and he let me drive it.
