During the summer of 2017 independent filmmaker Mathew Kister used Cosmic Films studio to film a short, Robo-Mummy From Outer Space-Part 7, a parody of 1950s sci fi B movies. It was expanded in the summer of 2018 into a feature film with the original cast returning to reprise their roles. It is expected to be released in 2021.
