LOGLINE: A flashback reveals how Will overcame a lost love after meeting a mysterious cat.

This episode was filmed in 2022. I like to try different genres and this was my romantic comedy short. I also wanted include all the usual rom-com cliches, simply because they work so well, including the ending in the rain, which for me was particulary inspired by the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's. This was my second flashback episode and explains how Will and Penny met. A third flashback episode will explain Penny's origin and how she was able to travel through time and space. Katie Otten did the voice of the raven. Since the raven worked out so well in this episode I decided to have it return in a future episode "Cat's All Folks, so Katie also recorded the raven's voice for that too. The raven also ties into the earlier episode "What The Cat Dragged In" since in that episode, as well as this one there is a reference to Edgar Allan Poe's poem The Raven, which also mentions Lenore. There are a few "Easter Eggs" in this episode that are a clue to what the next episode is about. They are the French cabaret poster Chat Noir in Will's bedroom and the comic book Unusual Tales about a parallel world.
